Rum Island Collection
This Collection is inspired by the beauty of Rum Island Springs — one of Florida's most breathtaking natural springs. Crystal-clear turquoise waters, ancient cypress trees, and the untamed spirit of river life. This collection captures that feeling in every piece.
The Origin of the Name: The island and its second-magnitude spring earned their name during the early 1900s, specifically during the Prohibition era (1920–1933). It was a popular spot for moonshine stills and bootlegging operations because the island was considered a "no man's land" that sat on the borders of Alachua, Gilchrist, and Columbia counties, making it difficult for law enforcement to establish jurisdiction.
